Have you ever stumbled upon a dream? Well that is exactly what happened to me, and this is the story how.
Freshman year of college I was just a freshman looking for a way into the sports world. My idea was that I wanted to get into the business side of sports, and I jumped at the first chance I received. I was hired as an intern for Campbell Athletics as a content creator! I had no previous experience, but with time I grew to love what I was doing. I was able to find that it is great to capture the little moments of peoples lives and doing something amazing with it.
I then decided that I wanted to do this as a hobby for my friends and family. So over the next year I used what I have been learning as an intern, and with a little bit of self-teaching, to make my own photography business. My friends and family love to help me achieve this dream. They were all supportive and wanted to do anything they could to help. They would allow me to take them to photo shoots and just have fun with things. This was where the true interest came from. I saw how much enjoyment my friends were having and I was enjoying it as well. It made the experience behind a camera great!
This decision has been life changing for me. I now have opportunities that I never could have imagined for myself and my business as a whole. I hope to continue this as long as I can. I have fell in love with this industry, and I truly see this as a career for me one day.
